Practice days will be scheduled around matches and will occur once per week on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
The program fee for the PGA Jr. League at Westhaven Golf Club is $300 per child. Payments will be taken on the PGA Junior League website upon registration. Each PGA Jr. League golfer will receive:

We will continue to utilize concepts of Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) aimed at the development of athletic skills for each child to further aid their success in the game of golf as well as other sports. We use developmental programs from American Development Model (ADM) through the PGA, Titleist Performance Institute, U.S. Kids Golf, Operation 36 and SNAG golf to develop athletic movements and motions that will establish a foundation to perform the necessary movements to better enjoy the game of golf. The ADM model focuses on skills and motion in multiple sports and is used by U.S. Hockey programs for athletic development.
We will focus on every aspect of the game and focus on making golf fun!
The program will incorporate instruction, games and activities specifically targeted to train each child on golf specific movements and are geared toward the beginner and intermediate level golfer. Each session will last 75 minutes to allow for more time to be dedicated to each child to further develop their skills and enjoyment for the game. We will continue to utilize the U.S. Kids Golf assessment and skills programs to promote continued improvement for each child with their individual golf game. The U.S. Kids Golf assessment program will allow each child to learn basic golf fundamentals while assessing their strengths and weaknesses for a more focused practice approach.
Children of Full, Executive, Junior, Corporate, National, Associate and Academy members are eligible to participate in the program. The Academy sessions are limited to 24 juniors with an 8 to 1 student to teacher ratio. Spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis and limited to children of Westhaven Golf Club Members only (does not pertain to Middle School or High School Team 615 programs).
