Welcome to The Golf Performance Center at Westhaven!

Our six dedicated PGA teaching professionals are committed to offering valuable and creditable instruction for golfers of all abilities! We thrive by growing the game through the PGA’s Get Golf Ready program, which aims to bring new golfers, past golfers and occasional golfers into the game in a fast, fun and affordable way!

The Golf Performance Center at Westhaven offers both indoor and outdoor facilities. We have four bays, two for instruction (equipped with TrackMan technology), one for our Master Clubfitter and the fourth for the area's only PXG Fitting Studio.

Whether you're warming up to play, taking lessons, or just hitting some balls, our facilities provide year-round capabilities for working on your game, including:

Covered “indoor” lessons and practice bays
Large putting green
Short game chipping area with multiple bunkers
Fairway (range) bunker for long range sand shot practice
Access to the challenging Arthur Hills golf course for on course instruction
Latest technology, including the TrackMan Radar System, TrackMan Gaming System, V1 Video System
PXG Fitting Studio
A full-time club fitting and repair service on site
Full golf shop with access to all the top brands, including Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, Miura, Mizuno, PXG and more!

Two Westhaven Professionals Receive Golf Industry Awards

Chris Cauthen, PGA Head Professional at Westhaven Golf Club has been named the 2020 Tennessee PGA Section Golf Professional of the Year. This award is given annually in each of the 26 PGA sections in the U.S. and represents not only the work of the recipient from the past year, but also their dedication and commitment to the association and the sport during their entire career. Ben Pellicani, PGA Teaching Professional at The Golf Performance Center at Westhaven, has been named to Golf Digest’s list of “Best Young Teachers in America” for the 3^rd year in a row. Golf Digest’s biennial list of Best Young Teachers (under the age of 40) is included in the January 2021 issue and features 177 award-winning instructors from across the nation. The 2021-2022 list was determined by the publication’s editors with applications submitted by instructors. READ MORE

Private Instruction

Our PGA Professionals make the process of learning the game of golf fun! Don’t sweat it! These guys work with people of all abilities! They’re dedicated to making sure you enjoy the sport.

Group Instruction

Group instruction is a great way to learn the game! Bring friends, family or co-workers into the game of golf with you! There’s nothing better than playing rounds with your favorite people!

Junior Instruction

According to the PGA, the benefits of youth golf includes building life-long friends, spending quality time with family, spending time outdoors, learning patience, and any one can play. Even better… it’s fun!

Clubfitting

Having a set of clubs that fit to your swing will help you hit the club consistently well. If a player's equipment doesn't fit, he/she will compensate their swing incorrectly. This, in turn, will cause a setback in learning how to produce an optimal swing.

Club Repair

We provide complete club repair services. No matter if you need new grips, a new shaft or just needing to make some tweaks to improve your shot pattern, our technicians got you covered! Rest confidently – our work is precise and professional!

PXG Fitting Studio

PXG clubs are engineered to be customized for optimum performance. PXG club fittings are data driven, immersive experiences, focused completely on your performance goals. Your PXG fitter will help you leverage PXG equipment to put together consistently better rounds.
